Going Down

Didn't think we'd see this anytime soon:














But here we are, gas is below $2 in some parts of KC. Is it coincidence that it is only days away from the election and it looks bleak for big oil's buddies???

Question is, does cheap gas prices make you want to drive more? No? Then maybe we should stop building new highways and interstate bypasses now.

Then again, in major metros like Kansas City, rail is just too expensive. Rail only really works when the populace is dense, like Tokyo, San Fran, or New York.

Either way, we've got to stop building roads on which there will be fewer and fewer cars -- and oil to power them. Maintaining what we got is killing us.
