I wonder what all the celebration and sel...I agree. I wonder what all the celebration and self-congratulation was for this weekend in the House. They've only completed "a" step in a long process.<br /><br />I really wish we could even have a conversation about restructuring/redesigning our Congress for the 21st century. The fact that one lone senator can block legislation that two-thirds of the country's citizens want is insane.<br /><br />But yes, the Senate will kick it 'round and 'round until it dies. It may make it to a vote, but it won't win. If the final solution is for a impoverished middle class -- what's left of it -- to be forced to buy health shitty insurance from for-profit companies who don't think women have plumbing or gays have visitation/POA rights, then the Democrats are looking at consecutive major losses at both the Congressional and executive level. And to think, we've wasted a year on this while Obama's worked so hard... to lower his golf handicap!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
